Executive Directors:

Ruben Madoery: Ruben has more than 30 years of experience in Finance, Tax, Business Development, Sales and R&D in petrochemical companies such as PASA, Perez Companc, Petrobras and Innova. Ruben led the Innova`s greenfield construction project in early 1996, moving from Argentina to Brazil, and later guided the financial group and after the commercial team during several transitions from different shareholders, consolidating Innova’s leadership in the styrenics market in Brazil.

Paulo Schutz: Paulo is a senior executive with more than 20 years of experience and significantly accomplished in guiding sourcing and trading initiatives for several petrochemical companies, like Perez Companc, Innova, Oxiteno, InterChem and Ravago. Highly skilled in the oversight of profit/loss trading activity on a global scale, mergers and acquisitions, project development and project finance. As Supply and Trading Manager in Innova, he worked side by side with Innova’s R&D team on the developing of some PS grades that now are a reference in the South American market. Paulo later worked like Aromatics Trader in Houston, consolidating his knowledge and relationship with Styrenics American producers, as well as an understanding of the global dynamic of the Styrenic market.

Marcus Dal Pizzol: Marcus holds a doctorate in materials engineering and a master’s degree in polymer chemistry. He has a career of over thirty years in the plastics industry in Brazil and has worked for some of the largest companies in the sector, such as Innova, Braskem (former OPP), and Petrobras. During this period, he worked with various materials such as polystyrene, ABS, EPS, polypropylene, BOPP, polyethylene, and PVC, in addition to biopolymers (such as PLA). For more than ten years, he has also managed Technical Assistance. He was also the technical responsible for the introduction of the technology of the innovative extrusion-impregnation EPS (expanded polystyrene – EPS) in Brazil, creating the portfolio of products successfully launched in the Brazilian market.

Associate Partners:

Marco Telles: Chemical Engineer with 34 years of experience in Industrial Management of Petrochemical Plants, with outstanding performance in Industrial Processes of Ethylbenzene, Styrene, Polystyrene, EPS (Expandable Polystyrene), Polyethylene and Polypropylene. Marco was responsible for Assembling, Commissioning and starting a Polystyrene Plant (Total Technology) with a capacity of 75 Kty, the assembly and operationalization of two Expandable Polystyrene (EPS) production lines with extrusion process using SULZER Technology, with a total capacity of 50 Kty besides several other relevant petrochemical projects in Brazil.

Otávio Carvalho: Otavio’s career is grounded in 22 years of strategic and market advisory for some of the largest O&G, chemical, petrochemical and plastics corporations in the world. During this time, he has developed business strategies, market analysis and competitive landscape for a variety of products, delivering reports and presentations for shareholders, board members, CEOs, VPs, managing directors and analysts of some of the largest corporations in the industry, as well as financial institutions and trading companies. Otavio is also part of the advisory board of a large trading company with interests in Latin America, Europe, Asia and Africa, and CFO of an engineering project management company.
